The 2026 Wayne Brown Memorial Bursary is now open for applications.
Wayne Brown was a Utility Worker who passed away suddenly in 2008. He was a union member in good
standing for over 33 years, most recently with CUPE Local 227.
The Wayne Brown Memorial Bursary is open to all students attending their first year at a university,
college, or trade school whose parent or guardian are members in good standing with CUPE Local 227.
CUPE Local 227 will be awarding one $1000 and two $500 bursaries.
